Can't listen to voicemail on the extension that has a message

I am running Incredible PBX on a Raspberry Pi 4

I am having trouble listening to voicemail messages on the local extension my VM box is associated with.

When I dial *97 and enter my password, I get the usual prompts: 1 to listen to vm, etc.…. If I press 1 or any other of the options nothing happens. The key press does not even register in the “Asterisk Logfile”.

Rapid growth in new MeshPhone PBXs

It seems like new MeshPhone PBXs are popping up often.
Perhaps there is a little latency in these new PBXs appearing in Mark's global meshphone.conf file.
A few PBX operators have been adding trunks to these fresh PBXs to our local meshphone.conf
file so that these new extensions can dial-out to the global MeshPhone network, but alas, the rest
of the 80+ MeshPhone PBXs and their extensions cannot dial-in to these new PBXs.

For the time being, there is a way to keep the global meshphone.conf file unmodified, yet add

New Polycom VVX 410 Setup Assistance & Seeking Starter's Guide

Hello fellow AREDN enthusiasts,

I'm excited to share that I've just received my Polycom VVX 410, and I'm eager to dive into setting it up for use on our network. However, as someone who's looking to build a solid foundation from the ground up, I find myself in need of a bit of guidance.

Clear VMI

I have a Cisco SPA504G. When I receive a voicemail message and then delete the message, It takes forever for the VMI to clear. Is there a setting for the indicator that will speed up clearing?

Planning on setting up a couple IP phones for direct-IP dialing...

The phones are a pair of Grandstream 1625s. I'm expecting them in a few days, and wanted to make sure I had some grasp of how to set them up.

I plan to set one up with an airrouter to be pretty portable, and another to live near my home hAP.

What ports to I need to set up to forward on the nodes? 5060? Anything else?

Is it necessary to change any firmware settings on the phones?

Digium D50 phones

Anyone using Digium D50 phones? Any special considerations? PBX requirements?

We may have access to these at a very reasonable price.  Thank you.

VOIP without PBX in AREDN networks

Anyone have experience setting up a PBX-less system like this? It seems alot less complicated than setting up a PBX and dealing with routing issues.

The following table summarizes phones that various hams have successfully used on the Mesh. Please suggest any additions or comments below.

Direct Dial IP with CISCO SPA504G

I have a Cisco IP Phone model SPA504G.  It's on the list of recommended IP phones: https://www.arednmesh.org/content/ip-phones-used-mesh

It works,  it can receive phone calls at AREDN IP 10.3.51.101

Problem is, I can't figure out how to dial an AREDN IP address with the menus / keypad on the phone.

I've dug through the phone's web interface as well.  There's some kind of phone book in there, but it doesn't seem to work.

SNOM D765

I might have an opportunity to acquire several SNOM D765 phones. I see there's a SNOM 300 on the "list" here: https://www.arednmesh.org/content/ip-phones-used-mesh

Does anyone have any pointers, or sample setups to try? The menus seem quite different from some of the Cisco demos I've seen (here and YouTube). It's been a good decade since I've played with VoIP-anything.
