Help with Asterisk/RasPBX (all calls hang up after 30 seconds)

I'm running the latest version of RasPBX, which may not contain the latest versions of either Asterisk or FreePBX. The pi is a model 3 B. The Pi isn't currently connected to any of my mesh nodes, it's on my home LAN. My goal is to have it working on the mesh.

I have asterisk16 and chan-sip loaded on my GL iNet AR300M16.
It is sip-trunked to my rasPBX.
I have 2 IP phones sip-registered.
flash=5328KB.

I tried to dial the other phone:
[Mar 24 19:53:55] ERROR[2304][C-00000001]: rtp_engine.c:489 ast_rtp_instance_new: No RTP engine was found. Do you have one loaded?

Next, I need to find out what a RTP is and how to configure it.

Hi, everyone,

I'll admit it. I feel dumb right now. I've been watching a couple of videos on Youtube, where the person uses an AREDN mesh with N2MH's MeshPhone configured. In one video, he links to an updated configuration file, but you have to be able to access the AREDN mesh that it's stored on. At this time, my mesh (three or four units) doesn't have any access to other meshes around the country. So I'm not able to get to the files/instructions.

Later this week, around August 30/31, Hurricane Idalia is predicted to
make landfall in Florida and ultimately make its way up the southeastern
coast of the US as a tropical storm. In the affected area, two NOAA
Weather Radio Stations can be heard on MeshPhone: KEC95 in Myrtle Beach,
SC and KHB31 in Wilmington, NC.

KEC95 can be heard on MeshPhone 910-4161
KHB31 can be heard on MeshPhone 910-4167

 From Hamshack Hotline, dial 88 plus the MeshPhone number.
 From Hams Over IP, dial 78 plus the MeshPhone number.

I have installed ZoneMinder on a remote Ubuntu Server(not dedicated). I can open the system http://my ip/zm 
How can I integrate this sytem to AREDN Mesh.

Cisco 7940 setup

Here are my brief notes on configuring for a 7940:

(comment: nice hardware, EXCEPT, there's no backlight, which may be a problem for EMCOMM.  Will probably stay with the Grandstream GXP-2000's.)

  • You have a tftp server installed somewhere (ie. raspberry pi)

I have created a small app that can be installed on FreePBX (or any PHP enabled web server) that allows access to the WhitePages directory listings. This allows users to still access the WhitePages directory listing information when n2mh-meshphone2 is down or temporarily inaccessible (which is my case at times). Dirt simple to install and data is refreshed once an hour from n2mh-meshphone2.

Does MeshPhone have * codes?

Incoming calls to my MeshPhone number rings my phone once and then goes straight to voicemail. Is there a star code to disable this? Does MeshPhone have any star codes?

Good Morning,

Before our directory gets too big I wanted to have a conversation about extension organization. I had a few questions and wanted to see how others were breaking this down.

What system do you use in your mesh? Is it a guess by golly or well thought out numbering pattern?
