Mikrotik hAP ac lite flashed but can't connect
I recently flashed my Mikrotik hAP ac lite. I am doing this on windows. I got all the way to creating the node (callsign-1). router rebooted but now I can't connect to the node. I reset my IPv4 address to obtain automatically. When trying to connect to http://localnode I get the error below:

Did you place the Ethernet
Did you place the Ethernet cable back to the LAN port 2,3,or4? A common era.

KD9VGH:
Did you obtain an IP address on your 'windows'?
If yes, what IP address?
If no, set your 'windows' to an appropriate IP address, then
can you PING the hAP-ac-lite on address 192.168.1.1?

"I get the error below:"
I see nothing 'below' in your post.

You start with the fixed IP
You start with the fixed IP address, and then after the hAP returns you still have the same IP address for one more step, then the third time you need DHCP.  It sounds like you are using a direct cable from a pc to the hAP.  Once your computer makes a connection with a fixed IP address, sometimes the network card will not release that setting until you physically remove the ethernet cable from the port on the computer.  After resetting your card to have DHCP unplug the cable, and then plug back in also moving the other end to 2/3/4 and wait.  When rebooting the hAP and connecting the cable Windows will take some time to recognize the new ip address 10.x.x.x, do ipconfig like Chuck tells you.   Ed

Tried resetting the router
I appreciate the replies. I may have jumped the gun. but I tried to start from the beginning. I followed the instructions to do a reboot on the hAP.
  • With the power off, I held down the reset button and plugged the power back in.
  • The USR light came on solid then started flashing.
  • Once the flashing stopped and the light went solid I released the button.
I believe that resets the hAP. I then started again. I have a dumb switch connected to my computer. I have a cable from the switch to the hAP.
  • I plugged the cable into port 1.
  • I set my Ethernet to a static IP of 192.168.1.50.
  • I started the PXE server. Unchecked the box "Filename if ....." and loaded the rb.elf file. Clicked the Online button.
  • Held down the reset button and plugged in the power. Waited until the PXE server to finish. Here is what it said:

Did your disable the Wi-Fi adapter on your computer?
Your computer may be discovering a Wi-Fi Access Point and
getting an IP address from that instead of your hAP-ac-lite.

It looks like you are trying
It looks like you are trying to do this while already connected to another router, perhaps your home network.  Your PC can only be on one network at a time and most likely your home network has an address 192.168.0.1 for the router so everything is confused if you want to point at your home router or the AREDN device.  Disconnect from your home network (including any wifi) and start again.

Finally Flashed
Thank you to all that were will to help me. I finally flashed my hAP. I have a 2nd computer and connected a cable from the hAP to the ethernet port of that one. I went through the steps and got it to work. Again I appreciate the help.
