Failure after upgrading a MikroTik LHG XL HP5 to v. 3.22.8.0
I tried to update to v. 3.8.22.0 an LHG XL HP5 from remote, but now it is no more connected to the mesh. I tried a hardware reset (power cycle) without results.
I think the update process has not ended or something went wrong. In fact, the node has not resumed automatically and I had to click on the red link.
What can I do to recover it?
Thanks for help.

I am not clear on what state your LHG is in.
Is your computer getting an IP address from the LHG via DHCP?
If you put the LHG into TFTP mode, can you PING 192.168.1.1 ?

failure after upgrade
Hello Chuck,
thanks for answering!
I suppose my computer is not getting an IP address. The LED on the port is blinking for a few seconds and then off.
Can't do the 30-second reset because it's up the roof. I will try it as soon as I'll pull it down and let you know later.

Ubiquiti POE injector with reset button.

At one time you had a Ubiquiti M5.
Still have it?
Does its POE have a reset button?
If yes:
Try the 5 second failsafe procedure,
Try the 15 second failsafe procedure.
Try to put the LHG into TFTP mode and see if it responds to a ping to 192.168.1.1.
I think.

Unfortunately, I don't have a POE with a reset button. Have to buy one!
Thanks for your suggestions.

Remote reset
Guys, the remote reset is specific to Ubiquiti equipment.  I don't believe Mikrotik implemented such a thing.
