Identifying tunnel connections on MESH STATUS LIST
At some time previous maybe in 3.0.2 we could identify tunnel connections on the MESH STATUS list as they had a "(dtd2)"? listing after the connected node name.  Now there is NO indication of a connected tunnel - looks just like an RF connection.

This is probably a feature request, but sure would be nice to be able to identify tunnel connected dones by looking at the list..

Thoughts, ideas, suggestions??

Tunnel Identification
Running the latest beta, my tunnel connections have (wan) next to them. Do yours not?

No, mine do not.  What
No, mine do not.  What version Firmware are your running that shows the wan connection?

WAN means the node is a mesh

WAN means the node is a mesh gateway.  Many Tunnel Servers/clients have set it up because they also like to merge out to the internet. I have also seen it in cases where some node operators believe incorrectly that you have to be a meshgw for the node itself to access the internet which is false.

Thanks for clarifying that, Conrad.

This was pulled in the early
This was pulled in the early stages of the 3.15.1.0 beta last year. It never worked well and needs to be reevaluated. So to add this would indeed be a feature request.  Not sure status of when or where or if but that is why you saw it some time ago and it has since been removed.
