Where are the instructions for installing MeshChat on a Raspberry Pi?
Cant find them. Lots of broken links, or links to comments about the process, but no instructions so far.....

Is this Enough?

I think there is a different link for the current version of Meshchat.  See AREDN Docs / Applications and Services Guide / Chat Programs.  V2.12.0 was released in March 2024.  On our local mesh, we are using  meshchat-api_2.10_all.ipk   in our nodes and  meshchat_1.02_all.deb   in our attached R-Pis.  Not sure this is best, but it seems to work.

Also, you have to advertise your Meshchat service zone by adding an entry in your AREDN node's Setup / Port Forwarding, DHCP, and Services page.  And if your node has an attached R-Pi or other computer, you have to make an edit or two to the meshchatconfig.pm file.  In an R-Pi, it is in root/usr/lib/cgi-bin.

If you need details, send me an e-mail.

meshchatconfig.pm
Hi, Tim:

+1, except
IIRC, Gerard did not re-release a Raspberry Pi version.
My meshchatconfig.pm file is here:
/usr/lib/cgi-bin/meshchatconfig.pm

IIRC, I am running meshchat as an init.d process.

Thanks for +1

Thanks for the comment!  And for the observation about the R-Pi version.

I have been confused about this for months, but it became clear with your comment about Gerald Hickey not releasing an R-Pi version.
That is why we run the old version in our R-Pis and the new version api in our nodes.

This line is from AREDN Docs
"If you are running the original Perl version on an external computer, you can still use the new Lua API on your node
to provide the computer with the list of MeshChat nodes. These packages are available at the following links:"
.
All clear now.
