The UK. The Mesh Island.

Hi from all us meshers in the UK.
Would it be possible to add the UK in the regions section.
Mesh activity is being established in the NW of England, and Scotland currently but I believe there may be other isolated mesh islands around the UK that are not aware of one-anothers existence.
A central point of contact for established meshers and those thinking of having a go would be beneficial I think.
Early days up here in the North West of England but we do have a mesh linking Rochdale, Castleton and Darwen.
Currently we are assisting a local community MW broadcast station set up a new site, and as a consequence we have secured permission to set up a node on an elevated location that will give us mesh coverage over the entire city of Manchester. (fingers crossed).
We have a Webserver and VOIP server online,and will shortly be enabling "HumHub" in an attempt to generate some new interest.
Hopefully this will allow us to improve the mesh density to the point that we can link some new outlying areas into our system.
Our local "RAYNET"(Radio Amateur Emergency Network) have expressed much interest in the system so we will be co-operating in the future to provide some useful communication options that have so far been un-available to them.
We are also experimenting with rig control using "usb over IP" with some interesting and useful results.
