I am trying to convert a Ubiquiti Powerbeam 5AC Gen2 to AREDN. Since the unit came from the factory with version 8.7.1 firmware, I started by backing that down to version 8.7.0.
I found the appropriate firmware image by entering "powerbeam 5ac gen2" in the firmware search tool, downloaded the factory .bin file (aredn-3.23.4.0-ath79-generic-ubnt_powerbeam-5ac-gen2-squashfs-factory.bin), then followed the instructions to install it using ssh and scp on my Windows host.
Unfortunately I'm getting the "Unsupported Device!" warning on the initial NOCALL localnode.local.mesh webpage, and when I try to go into Setup, I get the now-infamous "Bad Gateway" error message. I have tried running my browser in incognito mode to try to get further with no improvement.
Any suggestion on how to resolve this? I have attached the supporttool dump file.
Thank you and 73s,
