Around January of 2022 I decide to play around with a GL-iNet AR-750.
What I wound up with is a really portable node that has Mesh RF on 2 GHz ch -2 and a LAN access point on 5 GHz. And, it is powered by a 10,000 mAH usb battery which lasts 7 or 8 hours. It also has a tunnel client that can connect back home if one of the RF ports is changed over to a WiFi client. And, some other goodies found their way into the node.
I hate to say this, but it does almost everything that Stanley does except have QRO radio ports. It also doesn't get the stares that Stanley got when checking into a hotel. The Grandstream phone is now my Android phone running GS Wave.
Stanley still lives in his roll about tool case but Arnie now lives in my back pack along with other good Stuff.
