San Marcos Peak located in Vista, CA is now fully active with backbone links to Sleeping Indian and Elsinore Peak. Currently it has a link to Red Mountain making it possible for the Rainbow area group to see the larger AREDN network and also has a 120 degree 5.8 ghz sector facing West for Carlsbad/Oceanside. Soon we will add a 2.4 GHz sector to this site.

Once the 2 GHz sector is added to San Marcos Peak, all nodes in Oceanside & Vista should redirect from Sleeping Indian to San Marcos Peak. Sleeping Indian will be taken down.
