Hi to the group. We have come across a few old Bullets and Locos that are Pre-M series. They are labelled Bullet2 and Loco2. Has anyone had luck loading AREDN firmware into these? Sorry if this has been asked and answered before.
Thanks and 73.

Welcome to the forums. While I am familar with the NWMesh group, I'm not familiar with the differences in their firmware.
My advice would be to sell the Bullet2 to help fund your M-series device purchase. ;-)
(and yes, the Nanostation M2 is a better radio)
the NW-MESH Firmware is much closer to Protocol revision 0 if I recall correctly (we are currently on Protocol revision 3)
Changes in that time were made to configuration specs to account for new/future needs of networks that put the stock configurations incompatible with the nwmesh firmware out of the box. (DTDLink was one of these features)
