I have a 301 that will set up nicely as an extension on one pbx but not another. Asterisk versions are the same and configs look identical but no joy on my pbx. Anyone with thoughts or run into a similar challenge?

Make sure the ports are correct for the type of extension, newer FreePBX Asterisk systems use Port 5060 for PJSIP extensions, older systems use the same port for SIP. Newer systems use port 5160 for SIP extensions. Also be sure that you match the password on the extension in each system with the one configured in the Polycom 301 phone.
