Node Services setup
Does anyone have a link to a good tutorial/Video of setthing up Node Services? I'm trying to add an Amcrest IP5M-B1186EW-28mm camera as well as a generic IP CAM.  A step by step tutroial with the new AREDN UI would be really helpful.

Short version is that video feeds need to go out from the camera as RTSP and have that feed into a server running video server software such as Motioneye.  Then the Motioneye server once it has a solid lock over the AREDN network to the RTSP input can feed mpeg4 or whatever back out to the rest of the mesh where it can be linked on your node as an available service once the video server is on a reserved address.

Most cameras will fail wtih a direct connection to their built in web servers as they just aren't good enough.  The key is learning how to install and manage the video server on a connected PC or even a Pi ... then you link to the video server later.

It's quite a learning curve but does work quite well.

Yes, I agree everything on AREDN seems to be a learning curve. I need to get a degree in Network Services :} There seems to be a lack of tutorials relating to the new AREDN UI.

WK7G: I have read through the documentation multiple times. The concept is understandable but the specifics are where I get lost. Where do you load the iSPY or MotionEye? What kind of service do you select and so on?

Scott, the AREDN nodes are primarily meant to provide a high speed data network over which different services can be run.  The services don't usually run on the nodes themselves, but on separate computers that are LAN-connected to an AREDN node.  Here is an example chart from the video services section in the online documentation that identifies which type of computer platform can be used to run things like iSpy, MotionEye, or Shinobi.  The documentation provides links to those 3rd-party sites for additional information and instruction.  Hope that helps.
