Nebula Mesh VPN Tunneling

Is anyone looking at this tech for AREDN?

It strikes me that this would make tethering a Mesh island to the WAN in the field a zero configuration proposition.

Set up a WAN node here, a WAN node there, tether them to public infrastructure and they phone home and connect themselves over the internet joining your portable islands together with what ever static infrastructure you may have. No manual config in the field. All they have to be preconfigured with is the static address of a Lighthouse node they are authorized to use.
