I have an older nanostation m2 that had been updated to ver. 5.6.2 XM firmware. I did the boot test and got BAD for version and GOOD for map.I suppose I need to install older firmware. What bin file do I need to use. I went to ubiquiti software site and I'm a little confused now. I don't want to brick it.First time on this forum.
Thanks Bob
Find this specific firmware image on the ubiquiti download site: "XM.v5.5.11.28002.150723.1344.bin". The release notes of this image support the NanoStation M2 and is the v5.5.x version that will roll back the uboot version to be compatible with AREDN. Be sure to upload this from within the AirOS GUI, NOT the 'tftp' method. Once this is done, run the boot test again to confirm "good/good".
AE6XE,
Thanks for the help.Everything worked fine. Installed older firmware on nanostation and airgrid m2.
