MikroTik LHG HP5
I have a
MikroTik LHG HP5 to Ubiquiti AirMax 2x2 MIMO BaseStation Sector Antenna AM-5G16-120 Cross-polar Isolation 22 dB Min With a Ubiquiti Rocket AC Wireless Access Point (R5AC-LITE). The Ubiquiti is 6 Miles away on a mountain top.
I 1st set it up pointed where I had a previous point to point and had some connectivity but would be some what in and out. I when ban tried re pointing the Mikro Tik and now I can't get anything.
Is there a way to turn on the Signal Strength meter on the Mikro Tik to help with pointing. I had a friend trying to adj when I monitored the Mesh Status screen it would just say RF Signal Blocked. on the Ubiquiti I am off to one side of the 120 Degree so that I can cover the Most populated area in our Valley.

Hi, Ted:

All AREDN nodes have a signal strength (with audio) meter:
Login as admin (root).

Old UI:
http://.local.mesh:8080/cgi-bin/status

New UI:
Login as admin (root).
Click the 'tools' icon.
Select 'WiFi Signal'.

I usually set up a DtD'ed node as an Access Point.
Connect to it with my mobile phone.
Browse to the node/antenna I want to adjust.
Disable LQM.
Enable and adjust the audio pitch and volume.
Put the phone in my shirt pocket.
Now I have 2 hands free to climb and/or aim the antenna.
