Hi all,
Just uploaded version 19.3.0 to a Loco 2M device for the first time. It looks OK, but the radio is not detected by my wi.fi. smartphone, nor does the wi.fi. scan show any reception. The unit worked under AirOS in the past, and is a XM type, if I'm not mistaken. Hence, I used bullet-m-factory software, as mentioned for all NanoStation Loco M2. However, I've found later that the Loco M2 (XW) uses the loco-m-xw-factory software. Though I'm sure the unit is a XM type, How do I check it now, and solve the radio operation?
Thanks,
Ben, 4X1IL

If you want to access the mesh via another wifi device (ie. cell phone, pc, etc), then you need to either:
- connect a standard wifi access point to the lan port of the mesh node
- disable mesh RF on the node, enable wifi access point feature, and dtdlink (via cat5) to another mesh node.
Take a look at the docs on the website for more info: https://arednmesh.readthedocs.io/en/latest/arednGettingStarted/advanced_...
Every thing is working.

Wayne:
Managed means the switch supports 802.1q. Ensure that this is so.
Then, tell us about how your managed switch is programmed.
You will need 'Node' and 'WAN' tagging on your managed switch.
You will need 1 or more LAN ports.
See: https://www.arednmesh.org/content/gs105e-3-lan-1-node-1-wan
Your 'tunnel neighbor' will also need a 'programmed' managed switch.
Managed means the switch supports 802.1q. Ensure that this is so.
The 'Server' end of the tunnel will need to have its ISP connected router 'port forward' port 5525 to its Node's IP address.
You mentioned 'Zyzel'. What is the model identifier of this device?
You mentioned 'TS3200'. I searched 'Zyzel ts3200' and 'ts3200' and did not find anything relevant. !?!
Managed means the switch supports 802.1q. Ensure that this is so.

" my modem/Router is a Actiontec T3200"
This is fine. You may need to port forward port 5525 to your device.
"my switch is a ZYXEL GS1200-5 an is 802.1q supported Right now it has no programming on it "
You will need to program this Vlan capable switch. Look at the GS105E 3 LAN 1 Node 1 WAN programming.
Program your switch like that.
"it I was told by the ZYXEL tec I need this also on my Modem."
If your node is the server end of the tunnel, your modem/router will need to port forward inbound port 5525 toward your mesh device.
Else, nothing need be done with your modem/router.
