Installing patch
I am trying to reconfigure a bullet m5 to aredn. I have ver 3.1. Of bbrn installed. In following instructions I tried install the patch to install the keep settings. When I download the patch file it is a compressed file and an error message appears if I try to use the file as is. What am I missing? Barney K3LA

Also make sure you do not change the name of the patch from "patchBBHN310AREDNOTAFinal.tgz" (not including the quote marks) otherwise the patch system may not detect it's a patch and will error out.

I am running Windows 10 on the computer that I am using if that makes a difference.

Are you using the "Update
Are you using the "Update Firmware" section of the admin page or the "Upload Package"?

For firmware and patches, you should use Update Firmware.
For packages like MeshChat (these are .ipk files), you should use "Upload Package".
