Hi, I have an interest in setting up a node in Sacramento. Have an order into Amazon for an airRouter. Please feel free to contact me if you are in the area and also interested.
Install MeshChat on a Raspberry Pi. You get action script capabilities, TONS of storage, and you don't drag down a node by doing non-routing related things.
I've got MeshChat on the router as a first step, seems to work (I can send messages to myself).
I've got MeshChat loaded on a pi as well. Question...can I run the pi headless, connected by ethernet cable into an AirRouter port? Or do you connect a screen and keyboard to the pi, then ethernet to the AirRouter, and launch a browser on the pi?

All seems to be working on the basic node. Now looking into MeshChat.

connect the pi as you said, then, access meshchat at: http://<your_pi_mesh_address>/meshchat (or similar)
