Change hardware status page? Information not current.

As a recent purchaser of a TP-LINK CPE201 (v2), might I recommend that the hardware status page be changed to indicate the the v2 hardware will NOT work with AREDN?  It is somewhat upsetting when you purchase hardware that is clearly marked as "supported" only to find out that you have purchased hardware that is totally useless for your intended purpose.  Hopefully this will be resolved in the near future, but for now, all I can do is put my new hardware on the shelf and wait for a fix.

That would be great.  I'm going to hang onto these APs for a while to see if the update arrives.  I'm afraid I'm not familiar enough with the hardware to even think about a patch.  Thanks again!

The support matrix is updated
The support matrix is updated to clarify 'v1' versions are only supported with the current firmware available.

I'm not sure if anyone else on the AREDN team has had an opportunity to touch one of these devices.    If not, if you're willing to send one of these devices for one of us to take a look at, we could assess if it's possible to bring under support.   Although, let me do a little due diligence to see if there are sufficient specs available online that doesn't rule out support as a first step.

238 is sticky 2.0
238 is sticky 2.0

The other two are print dependencies as they have to be solved first before a 2.0 can come in.

Joe,
Joe,

They're not doing me any good here! ;-)  I'd be happy to send one (I'll get it back eventually, right?).  Where would you like it sent?

Address in QRZ is correct.
Address in QRZ is correct.   ...standard and similar disclaimer like at the end of all drug advertisements;  possibility of high blood pressure, death, etc. to the device.  :)    But so far, there's only 1 microtik device I've not yet been able to recover.  (I have a Microtik device I've got to figure out how to sanitize the NAND flash, I managed to get all the flash blocks flagged as bad, so unusable for the moment.)
