For starters, in the ham shack, the Mikrotik ac3 is indispensable; very flexible and powerful.
There are some high level nodes on Mount Sutro - if you have true LOS (no trees, no buildings!) to the southwest you might be able to hit them. If so, a good recommendation for an outside node is the Ubiquiti Litebeam 5ac Gen2. It's rugged, cheap, and has lots of gain.
Recommend skimming the AREDN docs; they'll give you a great overview of what all can be done with AREDN.
