AREDN notifications to email
I've been away from the hobby for a while and upon my return I notice have haven't seen any AREDN notices in my mailbox in some time.  I checked to see if I'd received a notice of any kind to reestablish these notices but I find none. So how do I go about receiving AREDN notices again in my home email?  I checked my AREDN account settings and it is flagged to send notifications, so not sure what else needs to be done.  Thanks.

The usual emails notifications are being sent as far as I can tell. Try making a change to your selections and then wait a day or so to see what emails you receive.

Thanks for the tip.  I went into my account and disabled notifications.  Then waited a few minutes and re-enabled them, and got a notice that I had 2072 notifications queued, but I selected the option not to send me the old queued messages.  Now I'll wait and see what happens.  I was wondering of maybe for some reason the AREDN email system couldn't send to my email account, maybe it was blacklisted or something for some reason I am unaware of.  Guess I'll find out shortly.  73, N4SV

Well it seems that notifications to my email are not working, as I made several changes to reset notifications, and so far no new notifications have been received in my email.  I know my email works OK as I get all other emails, including notifications from other user groups.  So, any idea how I can get these working again?  Is there someone on the AREDN support team who handles the email system and can do some testing with me?  Any help appreciated.

Test message
Well Randy, I did get your test message so that seems to be working, but it is the only notification from the AREDNmesh.org web site I have received so far.  Again I went over my notification settings in my AREDN account and all looks correct.  Plus, I had made no changes to my notification settings before it stopped working, apparently last year some time.  Any suggestions on what I might be looking for that might cause this lack of receiving AREDN messsges, or does your test message signal that things should be working normally once again?  Thanks again for your assistance.

Hi Bill,
If you can use a different email address to receive messages, try changing the email address in your profile to see if that works. I am looking for internal errors but not seeing anything yet.

OK Randy, per your recommendation I have switched my notification email to a different one.  Its temporary, just to test of the notifications will work, its not an account I normally use for ham related activity.  I'll test it for a day or so and see what happens and let you know the results.

Email change
Randy, I changed my AREDN notification delivery email but still haven't received any AREDN notifications, so I am wondering if there is an issue with the AREDN email notification process?  Not sure what else I can do to test this process, please let me know what you think.

Still not getting any AREDN email notifications, no matter what email address I enter...am I the only one experiencing this issue?  It was extremely convenient to receive these update notifications via email, would like to get them again if possible.  I'm willing to do any testing necessary if that will help.  Thanks.

No error reported
I just checked our email management system again and found no errors or bounces reported for your email address. It does not appear to be an issue at our end, as far as I can tell. The email management we use is a commercial product that keeps good records of all events.

Changes in email notification?
I am wondering if there have been changes in the way notifications are determined, I mean maybe my understanding of the process of setting up email notifications is not correct?  My understanding is that, for instance, this exchange on my original post between you and I should generate an email sent to me when any changes/updates occur, and this is not happening.  Am I correct in my assumption?  Likewise, any new posts, or updates to existing posts anywhere in the forum should generate emails to me, or any news notifications, such as new nightly builds, etc.?  This seems to be what I recall from when I last received such AREDN emails, but is not occurring now.  I've checked the obvious things, like looking in my Junk/Spam folders and there are no emails from AREDN in there, so I am at a loss.  Again I have double checked my notification settings in my AREDN account and things seem to be set correctly to receive such notifications.  Maybe you could suggest what to look for in my notiication settings that might be the cause of the issue?  Thanks.
