Is there any document that defines all the network ports used by AREDN and specifically for VOIP. I am having trouble getting VOIP to work on my node and I think it is a port issue.
My ISP does the port filtering and blocking listed below. Can any of the AREDN experts see any issues with this?
25 TCP (Filtered, not blocked): outgoing mail port has a mail packet filter for security reasons,
67 UDP: the DHCP assignment port is blocked for network security reasons,
135-139 TCP and UDP: blocking Windows Network access helps to protect customers for peer vulnerabilities,
161 UDP: this port allows SNMP control of certain network assets and blocking it protects the network,
445 TCP and UDP: Windows sharing is a very common way to spread viruses.

The mesh nodes don't block any traffic going across the mesh network by default. All these ports are open end-to-end. However, if the LAN of a node is configured for NAT mode, this by definition will block traffic -- connections initiated on the mesh trying to reach into the LAN-NAT devices are blocked. Symptoms can be that when you dial another voip from this LAN-NAT network, they might answer the call and can hear you, but you can't hear them.
