I have just updated 5 3G rocket nodes to the 3.18.9.0 version. Three of of them updated with no issues but two of them lost their node names when I look at them as neighbors and are showing their ip address instead. When I go to the node setup directly, the name is there. I deleted the name and re-wrote it and rebooted but there was no change. Any ideas on how to get the proper name back on the node?
OLSR appears to have bug. There's ticket on it ( https://github.com/aredn/aredn_ar71xx/issues/204 ).
If this situation is encountered even after the node is rebooted, then boot again or restart olsrd - "/etc/init.d/olsrd restart". This action is taken on the node with the IP address showing on its neighbors' mesh status.
