I'm having trouble getting started. I purchased a new NanoStation M2...I think it had airOS 5.6.
I was able to use airOS to load AREDN-3.16.1.1-ubnt-nano-m-squashfs-factory.bin. This seemed to go without a problem.
Since that update I have not been able to get connected, except in recovery mode. The NanoStation doesn't seem to be providing DHCP services as my network info shows "Autoconfiguration IPv4 address".
I have tried to load the OS using TFTP, but I get back "firmware check failed". I'm not sure what else to try at this point. Any ideas?

did you downgrade to AirOs 5.5 before starting (since it had 5.6 on it)?
if not, you need to recover it with a serial cable attached to the board.

You do need binary (octet) mode for the tftp transfer. That might be the default with your software, but it needs to be set if you use the Linux client.
