I am a complete noob and would like to make a presentation to my local EOC on the advantages of an AREDN network.
My audience is not interested in "what's under the hood".
They just want to use their favorite email app or Google stuff - effortlessly, just like they do during their workday. They do not want to learn new apps.
1. Can anyone point me to videos that show AREDN "in action, boots on the ground" using apps that non-geeks use every day?
Simple practice emergency drills would be fine.
2. I live in Oak Ridge TN, I have contacted AREDN hams in nearby Knoxville and Nashville.
Could I set up a single node at the EOC, tunnel to another city, and do a "live" demo?
Obviously I would rehearse this in the shack first.
3. Are there any other approaches to this?
Any and all help appreciated.

Have you looked at these? http://www.arednmesh.org/content/presentations
Also, suggestion you contact K1KY as he's coordinating a ton of mesh stuff in TN.

I have gotten ZERO responses so I thought I would post this question here:
I am putting together a power point presentation that is meant for general release to anyone who wants to view it or share it.
The presentation is about using AREDN gear to deploy a mobile mesh network.
Do I need to seek permission from the AREDN Team to use the AREDN TM Logo in my presentation prior to release?
I hope that you do well with your talk. Please let us know how many people attended and any interesting questions that the audience raised.
I have tried that Tab three other times with different members and it seems the message is not received.

Emmanuel,
If you're willing to share, I'd be interested in seeing it as well. Tom (KQ6EO) and I made a presentation at a local club in Sacramento earlier this week. I'll get a copy and share back to you when I get your email address.
I can be reached at my callsign at arrl.net
