I wonder if it would be possible to either set up a specific area in the forums, or a file area for presentations to be uploaded that others might want to share. It would save time searching the forums for links, etc.
Our area is in the very early stages of putting together a group that is looking at deploying a mesh network. We are going to make presentations at some of the local clubs, and the ability to use portions of what others have used successfully will reduce the effort in developing them. We would, of course, add a lot of our local thoughts into the mix.
The initial presentations will be overview of using a mesh. We'd probably include backbone, adding omnidirectional coverage and portable units. Some of the features (like messaging, video, VOIP services, etc..) could be covered in general terms. If it goes well, then we would want to come back as we develop our plans and give presentations that have more detail and demonstrations.
We might have a couple of the Bullets that I can take to the initial presentation, but I think a practical demonstration would be better later. One of the clubs has a demonstration night later in the year that might be a good time to deploy some units (gives time to set up power and support for them). If not this year, then next year.

This took 1hr to cover. I gave it last week, in Oakland CA.
I've seen some of the presentations (New York City Marathon, etc..) on the site. I'd really like to see a place where ideas and graphics in presentations can be shared for others to use when appropriate.
Since we can’t vouch for the accuracy of community-supplied presentations, and because the team doesn’t have the bandwidth to vet all such submitted material, we will continue to encourage members to post links to their own work. We will research ways to tag AREDN generated presentations to make them easier to find.

presentations. Just say they have have not been checked for accuracy, and that is good enough. It can be self-policing, in that if we see an error in someone else's presentation it can be reported in a forum group.

I like your strong emphasis on the many applications hams are using across an AREDN mesh network. My opinion is that is the primary reason for setting up a network - providing responders with access to the high-speed 21st century applications which they expect to use and rely upon. Without access to digital communications, responses can slow and falter.
One more application to consider is extending the range of FM voice communications as in the example of Mark KD5RXT setting up DMR hotspots linked across a mesh network. Mark's presentation is available on the excellent Ham Radio 2.0 YouTube channel.
