Linux?
What flavor of linux is used on AREDN firmware? I can't seem to find this information anywhere.

I'm running Collectd server on an Ubuntu box connected to my QTH node. It would be nice if I could install a client on the node.

Nodes also have an SNMP
Nodes also have an SNMP daemon running on them to gather this information from as well without having to install extra software.

More on SNMP
The Read community string is "public".  Most network management systems support snmp.  Use snmpwalk for a dump of the supported taxonomy.
