I would like to see a "Home" button added to the node status screen(s) that could navigate our browser to the localnode:8080 attached. I can get so far away when navigating the node list and then I want to return to my "home" node without having to either find it in the big list or having to open up a new tab and type in localnode:8080. Ability to open in current browser tab and a new tab choice would be icing on the cake!
I just added my localnode:8080 as a favorite and as such it is clickable on the bookmarks bar of the browser. You can drag it to whatever position on the bar that u like.
Did basically the same with the AREDN map.
I'm not sure how often people will jump around the mesh on status. Even if they do the status is virtually the same everywhere across the mesh. The only thing that matters perhaps is LQ/NLQ and that's more an"directly attached neighbor" concern.
Is there real advantage to adding another button/link/etc to every node status page just to take one back to localnode?
How many real world meshes rely on the status page daily and needing to navigate around from node do node?
I know I've gotten myself lost a time or two, but that was usually because I was Doinf something weird (like checking data propagation node to node for developmental feature changes) (my use may be significantly different than real world users)
