failure in initial AREDNmesh firmware install for Mikrotik hAP ac lite
My hAP is ac2.  I've repeatedly attempted the initial AREDNmesh firmware load, but at the end, never can ping 192.168.1.1  -- I downloaded the firmware files from  https://downloads.arednmesh.org/afs/www/?version=3.24.10.0&target=ipq40x...
------------
My procedure (and notes):
--------------
mikrotik hAP lite ac default IP address is 192.168.88.1
1 connect only PC and mikrotik to an ethernet switch
use mikrotik LAN 2 ethernet socket
2 set PC IP address to 192.168.88.1
3 browse to that IP address
with "Interfaces" selected on the left:
at the top of the page will be tabs:
Interface, interface list, ethernet, EoIP tunnel ...

4 on the left select System, and then RouterBOARD
5 at the top, select "Settings"
in the Boot Device drop-down, select
      try-ethernet-once-then-nand
(firmware protect is not checked)
     OK

6  hAP  unplug power
7  change Ethernet cable to hAP WAN --ie port 1
8  change PC IP address to 192.168.1.10
9 start the Tiny PXE server (c:/dc/tftpd/pxesrv.exe)
(rb.elf is in the same folder)
Just below the log window make sure that
Option 54 (DHCP Server) drop-down box shows the PC IP address: 192.168.1.10
and that "Bind IP" is checked
Near the bottom in the "Boot File" box, use the "..." button at the right to set Filename to rb.elf
  UNCHECK "Filename if user-class=..."

10 Activate the server by clicking "Online" at the top
11 While depressing the hAP reset button,
   plug in its power
12 Continue depressing the hAP reset button for about 20 seconds, until you see TFTPd:DoReadFile:rb.elf
13 Release the reset button;
14 Wait until the file is loaded and the hAP reboots (about 30 seconds)
The log window will show lines:
   DISCOVER received  MAC 18-FD-74-48-D3-4D; XID:AAB0BCF6
   OFFER sent, IP:192.168.1.11  (same XID)
REQUEST received (same MAC)  (same XID)
ACK sent (same IP)  (same XID)
15 click Offline on the PXE server
--you should be able to ping 192.168.1.1
----No, that doesn't work using either port 1 or 2
       (I can ping 192.168.1.11 on port 1)
but I can't connect with a browser on either port

Here is the Tiny PXE Server log window contents:

failure to install AREDNmesh firmware for Mikrotik hAP ac lite
I tried setting the IP pool size to 100, but still cannot ping 192.168.1.1

I have never to date tried an ac2s but is the procedure different for a  hAP than a ac2 a hAP as far as the firmware? Correct me if I'm wrong but if you set the computer to a static 192.168.88.2 or whatever it can't possibly ping a 192.168.1.1 address during the firmware install. If I'm correct just set your computer to say 192.168.1.12 and you should ping 192.168.1.1 once you load the elf into the PXE
