All,
Setting up a Mikrotik hAP AC Lite, and since I have a firewall in the mix, am trying to use WiFi for my WAN connection as I need to setup some Tunnel Servers for our mesh island.
My router (Netgear WAC124) has three WiFi options with both 2.4 & 5GHz, and none of them will allow Inet access for my hAP. I see that I am connected to WiFi successfully; however, no matter which WiFi instance I try, it never has Inet access. My WiFi SSIDs and PWs are good as I can connect to each WiFi instance.
On my router, I see the connection attempt due to the MAC address showing up in the Attached Devices list, but no IP address or hostname is assigned.
I reverted the hAP back to the NOCALL/firstboot display just to idiot-check myself, and since then, have only setup:
Tunnel Client connection 9outbound to a Tunel Server on my mesh island)
MeshChat advertised service
VoIP advertised service
5GHz LAN Access Point
My wired LAN/WAN setup wortks just fine, other than me not being able to have a Tunnel Client connect to my Tunnel Server. This is an issue for another day...
Are ther other settings I can configure to remedy this? Any input is greatly appreciated.

I have read multiple posts that elude to the WAN Wired Settings as being specific to the wired interface; however, once I set the WAN Wired Settings to DHCP, the WAN WiFi Client connection now has Inet access.
I did not see any correlation in the documentation that mentioned this interrelation. It may be there, and I hope it is, but I just did not come across it.
Hope this may help others.
