Unable to bring up GL-iNet web interface after loading AREDN firmware
I have a GL-iNet AR300M16-ext. I previously was able to load AREDN firmware and set up my node, but I mistakenly tried to update the AREDN mesh firmware and bricked it. I was able to unbrick it following the Uboot debrick instructions (https://docs.gl-inet.com/router/en/3/tutorials/debrick/), and reinstall the AREDN firmware. But now I can't get the web interface to load. I have the GL-iNet router connected but I can't access the AREDN web interface via 192.168.8.1, 192.168.1.1 or localnode.local.mesh. I get the error message "This site can't be reached". I'm using Chrome and have tried clearing the cache and restarting the computer, and restarting the router.
Any suggestions on what to do?
Thanks very much,

If you have the AREDN
If you have the AREDN software loaded on the node, it is probably running on the mesh IPs rather than any of the 192.168.x.x ranges. Make sure that your computer is setup for DHCP and see if you get an IP address from the node. If you do then you can try to connect to localnode.local.mesh:8080. If that is still not working, then connect to the IP address on port 8080 that shows up as the default gateway. I have had other programs--specifically VPN softwares--that interfere with the DNS lookups which then prevents localnode.local.mesh from properly resolving.

Good luck
