Chuck, are you saying that the hAP will not RF link on AREDN? I can't speak for the TP-Link...
The hAP will AREDN RF just fine, but without external antennas, the range is measured in feet - no more than 2 digits.

You will notice that there are three RF links - all less than 10 feet...
OK, I guess you were meaning to say that the TP-Link CPE510 and Mikrotik RB952U?-5ac2nD won't RF link between each other - but will to other devices. I don't own any TP link devices....
FIRST, confirm internet on your hAP before proceeding. FYI, there was a defect related to WAN addresses in the latest nightly build. You may want to try it also.

Here is a link to our docs on a config deep dive that covers the need for a VLAN for WAN access: https://arednmesh.readthedocs.io/en/latest/arednGettingStarted/advanced_config.html
No. I thought you were referring to your CPE510. What Chuck said here https://www.arednmesh.org/comment/20518#comment-20518 should work.
