The reset button does not do anything.
The advertised POE capability does not work.
Any hope for fixing these problems?
Thanks!

Are you talking about the reset button on the LHG itself or a reset button on the PoE power brick? What version of AREDN firmware are you using on the LHG?
FYI -- only Ubiquiti devices have a "Remote Reset" feature in their hardware. (That feature has it's own set of problems and issues.). Mikrotik devices can use the "Recovery Mode" feature in the AREDN firmware, but you must press the reset button on the unit itself.
I gather you were talking about some other device.
I don't have an LHG and I don't have any units running older firmware. BUT I do have some other Mikrotik equipment that has the same board as the LHG and I just finished testing the reset button capabilities. I'm running 3.22.8.0 firmware, but the reset functionality hasn't really changed for a long time. My results: it behaves exactly as documented. When I press the reset button for 5 seconds the node resets the root password and the dhcp server on the node -- my laptop retains the same IP address, but I now need to use the default password to login as root. When I press the reset button for 15 seconds the node resets to "firstboot" state -- my laptop needs to get a new IP address from the node on the 192.168.1.x subnet and I need to navigate to the http://192.168.1.1 URL to configure my node from scratch. Unless there is some physical issue with your LHG reset button, it should work exactly as documented.
