I have a 2gig and a 5gig mounted about 300 feet apart. I cannot mount them close together because there are obstructions due to the direction they are pointing. I am trying a 5gig wireless bridge in lieu 300 feet of CAT cable to connect the 2 nodes together to achieve a DTD connection. I understand there is VLAN traffic to make this work. So far I cannot get the 2 nodes to DTD connect. I am testing this on a bench and if I put a CAT cable between the nodes or plug them both into a dumb switch, I get a DTD connect, but if I use the bridge it does not work. I suspect the bridge has an issue with the VLAN traffic. It is a KuWFI Model CPE200. I don't need anyone to analyze the bridge I have now as I can just try a different device. I am interested in the basic concept I am trying to implement. If the bridge will pass through the VLAN traffic , should this work?

I don't understand.
There is no channel '-2' in the 5 GHz band.
