Is this the Lite Beam listed on the Aredn Matrix as usable? https://www.amazon.com/LiteBeam-LBE-5AC-Gen2-Ethernet-Protector-High-Spe...

LBE-5AC-Gen2 and LBE-M5-23 are, likely, different.

The LBE-M5-23 is supported by AREDN and OpenWRT v19.07.8.
The LBE-5AC-Gen2 is supported by OpenWRT v21.02.1, but not yet BY AREDN.

Ubiquiti LBE-5AC-Gen2 support
Any update on this? I have spent several hours of frustration using the first install process.

Specifically ... does AREDN MESH firmware exist / run on the Ubiquiti LiteBeam LBE-5AC-Gen2 ?

Specifically ... does AREDN MESH firmware exist / run on the Ubiquiti LiteBeam LBE-5AC-Gen2 ? No, not now. Everyone: I do not recommend to buy unsupported equipment and hope for it to be added later. Chuck

Just keep an eye on the Supported Platform Matrix  [ https://www.arednmesh.org/content/supported-platform-matrix ].  It gets updated whenever a new model gets supported.

Ubiquiti Litebeam
The Ubiquiti LiteBeam AC5 Gen2 has been supported for a while now.  It's an excellent device for use with AREDN.   It's got high gain, isn't huge, and is relatively inexpensive compared to other devices.
