I have a Microtik HAP Lite running 3.20.3.1 which has outside tunnels working in both directions.
I bought a new Microtik HAPLite and installed the latest 3.22.1.0 firmware on in. The two haps can connect to each other via LAN or AREDN RF but I can't seem to get a tunnel working. Maybe I'm missing a package?
I need these two talking to each other because one of them (the newer one) will be used in the field via a public wifi. I'm going to use that as a main access point just in case my Microtik dish can't connect to anything.

1. Node Name of Client less than 22-24 characters? The less the better.
2, Are you trying to tunnel within your own local network or between 2 different internet sources? May not play well if testing within your own network.
3. Of course the obvious - Node name match in the Tunnel Server? Recheck Node name match on both sides and host IP (or name) match.

I first tried using my cell phone as the wan connection for the KM6ZPO-HPLP client hap. No luck. Maybe Verizon blocks 5525?
I also tried using a different internal router for the wan of the client hap. No luck.
When I take this out to the field I will have a WiFi connection to use with the client hap. I'll retest tomorrow.

Get a fresh Support Data Download, extract and examine.
I found this <see attached file> in your earlier SDD.

How did you get to vtund.txt in order to do that analysis?

1) Renew my ddns.net account (km6zpo.ddns.net had expired)
2) Shorten the node name
3) Delete the client entry on the portable hap lite and then re-add it.
After performing all of the above, the tunnel is now active.
