Meshchat on Rpi

I installed "Mesh chat" on a Rpi3B+ and set up the advertised service. When I click the link on the mesh status page of the node the Rpi is connected to, I can't enter the "mesh chat" and only the Apache2 test page is shown.
Is there a configuration file to set up somewhere?

added "meshchat "after the / in the published service and the meshchat home page now opens correctly. When I post a message I get an error message: Could not get lock

You must be running Buster on

You must be running Buster on the Pi. It's a file permissions issue tha was not an issue with the older versions of Raspbian OS. Search this forum and you will quickly find the answer. It's very easy,.

Thanks a lot for your support. I'll try with Buster. I noted that the users are not registered with callsign and node name on the chat

The lock issue is if you are using Buster (RasbianOS 10). If you are using an older ROS version, it's not an issue. I rebuilt the Pi-3 that I had running MeshChat a few weeks ago and in the process installed Buster. I ran into the same issue. Quick look here on the forum found a thread with the solution.

Tried with Buster OS, but the issue is still there, like with Stretch Full OS,
My callsign do not appear on the Mesh Chat users and sending a new message I get : Error sending message, could not get lock !

Search the forum for the lock

Search the forum for the lock issue. It's an easy fix.
It requires changing permissions on one file.

The fix suggested by Brad AC7BR worked fine for me to solve the "Could not get lock" issue, but still, I have one more issue. I can't change and add a new channel on the meshchat. Some ideas ?

When you select the dropdown

When you select the dropdown for Channel, do you not have an option to "Add new channel"? Same place to select other channels (if there are any).

yes, I have, but after putting the new name there is no action. Moreover, I discovered that users from other nodes can't access the meshchat (permission denied). Does it seem that the meshchat can be entered only from localnode. Maybe a firewall or some protection on the Rpi?

Can't really help on either. I really don't want to add a channel because once you do, it's almost impossible to get rid of it (assuming you are syncing with other MeshChat nodes). A stock Rasbian / MeshChat should not have any restrictions for remote access to MeshChat. As I said earlier, I recently rebuilt my Pi-3b that runs MeshChat with a clean install of Rasbian Buster and MeshChat. Did not need to do anything special. When I remoted into that Pi earlier this morning to verify the add channel operation, I saw that someone else was logged into my node. I am not fluent enough in linux to troubleshoot a permissions issue.
