I was given an old MBR95. It has 32 MB of Ram and 16 MB flash. It's 2.4 GHz only, but I wonder if it might be compatible with any existing AREDN firmware.
It's been EOL'd, so if there isn't a compatible firmware, it's probably not worth developing unless there are hardware compatibilities with currently available devices, like their AER1600. I kind of doubt there would be a lot of similar hardware inside though, the capabilities look pretty different.
There does not appear to be an openwrt build for the MBR95... That's the backbone of the AREDN firmware, right? I'm thinking there isn't a path to making this a node, but it's still a pretty useful network device.
