I've just spent a couple of frustrating days trying to upgrade a Rocket M2 and M3 to v3.20.3.0.
Most of my issues were self inflicted but I did find a discrepancy that I'd like addresses.
After finally successfully upgrading a Rocket M2 (XM) I do what I always do, which is to go to the WiFi scan page to what's out there. I saw nothing. Generally I can see local access points all around me. This is a good basic check of functionality of the node since it, at least at Avery high level tells me if the load was successful and if the radio works.
In the previous version if you did a local scan, even if there was nothing to see, would at least show the node itself. We didn't even see that.
I tried a couple of things to troubleshoot, different antenna, get it up in the air, and so on. Same result. what was concerning to me was that I had no assurance that the RF stack was working at all.
I finally loaded the Ubiquity factory fir way. I went to the site survey and saw what I expected to see, about 40 access points around my neighborhood.
I then went ahead and loaded the AREDN firmware again and ended up in the same place. One thing to note here, The file name that loaded shows nanostation. It may be that I grabbed the thing based on the chart but I don't think so.
I'd appreciate some feedback on this. It's a critical node in our network. Additionally, it's on a 50 foot tower and I want to ensure it works before we put the tower back up.
Thanks!

Look for your Rocket at http://downloads.arednmesh.org/firmware/html/stable.html and try reloading again.

Rocket M2 Titanium - ar71xx...rocket-m-ti
Rocket M2 XM - ath79-ubnt_rocket-m
There seems to be 1 Rocket M3 (XM) - ath79-ubnt_rocket-m
While in AREDN firmware were you using 20 MHz bandwidth when you did the Wi-Fi Scan ?
Did you flash the correct firmware?
