This firmware is not trusted by airOS. To maintain security, it will not be loaded. Please load trusted firmware.
I purchased a Ubiquiti Nanostation M2. It has firmware 5.6.15– XM. When I try to upload the firmware on the listed on the download page, it gives me an error message.

This firmware is not trusted by airOS. To maintain security, it will not be loaded. Please load trusted firmware.

Any help is appreciated!

two options:
two options:

1) download the nightly build of AREDN and install via the TFTP procedure  (RECOMMENDED)
or
2) downgrade AirOS to 5.5.x, then you can load AREDN via the AirOS GUI

I get the same message when
I get the same message when trying to install version XM 5.5. any sugestions?

Use TFTP

Use the TFTP procedure as K5DLQ recommended.  Don't even bother with airOS.
