Some of these units are out there with bundled antenna and might be a nice choice for mobile mounting instead of a Bullet.

The MikroTik Groove appears to be the AC version of their N device (which seemed to be a copy of the Ubiquiti Bullet). The Groove is an AC device with a chipset that I believe is not compatible with AREDN at this time.
As a side note, I'd like make a plug for MIMO devices in AREDN. This Groove and the Bullet are not MIMO devices. They are SISO devices, therefore will suffer from loss due to multipath and also lack a multi-DSP engine on it's front end like the MIMO devices have. They can still be useful for tactical operations where only low bandwidth and short links are needed. But I would avoid buying SISO devices unless you're getting a super good deal and you have the appropriate use-case for them.

I understand they are not MIMO and the advantages of MIMO. I was looking for an alternative to the Bullet for a mobile install and thus an omni pattern. The Groove 52 (RBGroove52HPn) & GrooveA 52 are dual band but not AC. : Wireless 2.4 GHz/5 GHz chip model AR9342 (from mikrotik spec sheet) which is the same as listed for the basebox (RB912UAG-2HPnD-OUT).
I was just wondering if the AREDN software might load/work on the non-basebox board.
