I have noticed that the term "wan" is used with two different meanings in the aredn software. On the mesh status page it refers to Wi-Fi neighbor links. However, on the Setup page it refers to the gateway.

The notation "(wan)" shown on the mesh status page indicates that the neighbor or remote node is a gateway (to another network presumably the internet). Thus, find the first one starting from Neighbors, then remote nodes going down the list to find which gateway you are likely routing to, if accessing an address that is not on the mesh.

Thanks for the clarification.
