At the first SoCal mesh network meeting, the turnout wasn't huge (17) but the audience was engaged and a lot of excellent discussion took place.
We were graced by the presence of three of the AREDN team - developers Joe AE6XE, Eric KG6WXC, and the AREDN program manager, Andre K6AH.
The Youtube video with the technical portion of the meeting is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=emSsGiTGyXE , The good stuff starts at 10:25

I viewed the presentation shortly after seeing the post about it. It was quite interesting. There was mention about the guy working on TP-Link device support. I did not catch his name or call. I went to view the video this morning bu YouTube shows:
Does anyone know who the TP-Link guy is? We have a CPE220 that we would like to get working with the AREDN FW.

Excuse me for butting in. I would like to learn. My QTH is Mission Hills just East of the 405. Been reading about AREDN for just a week.
I notice a get together was held a while back. Is another meeting scheduled?
Thanks,

However, there's a ham radio track at SCALE (the Southern California Linux Expo) in March, and it will be heavy on digital mesh networking. (socallinuxexpo.org, but there's no track info up there yet).
Send an email to socal-hamnet-users+subscribe@groups.io
to subscribe to the local mesh network email list.
