802.11n with TP-Link
Someone pointed out that for optimum theoretical throughput using Ubiquiti 2.4GHz equipment, the max power output should be turned down from 28 dBm to 22 dBM.
I can't find similar documentation for the TP-Link CPE210.  Does anyone know if it exists, or can provide similar guidance?

Thanks.

Power should be set to a good
Power should be set to a good level for your link (don't pump a -30dbm level At the receiver if you don't need to)

The hardware and software back down the power to a MAX level to maintain linearity on a data rate automatically. If max power is set above this the actual transmission power will be that of the data rate.  If the node max level is lower than what the hardware is capable of delivering for that data rate the node will use the configured max power.

So set the node max power to a good level for the link and let the hardware worry about choosing output power and data rate for each packet.

found this

This indicates they can run full power (27 dBm) all the way up to MCS15. So that is pretty good.
Although, without an external antenna jack there is not way to verify that ...

Thanks, Ken - I missed that data sheet.
But with the AREDN code, it doesn't appear we can run the power up above 22 dBm on the CPE210 (at least not on Ch -2 with 10 MHz BW). Can one of the developers expound on that?
