Hey all - new here.
I've got a Hap AC Lite setup with WAN on my home network - so it has internet connection. It's successfully tunneled to a friend site.
I am trying to connect to it with a mini travel router - single WAN single LAN -- Lan connected to laptop - no WAN. it's using the 2Ghz band, channel -2 10Mhz.
default settings.
I can see the Hap just fine - but if I try to click on any services (meshchat) or any tunnel services from other sites - I get a page not found - err.
The only way I can use any services are to be directly hard wired to the Hap.
I have found all kinds of info on installing firmware and but very little on configuration.
I'd like to connect to the HAP wirelessly from any computer in my home and access the AREDN network. since we are using channel -2 I understand I need the mini router connected to my laptop to connect to the HAP which it does.
But I either have a ip problem or a dns problem that I haven't been able to resolve.
Can someone show photos or walk me thru your successful setup on how to do that?

If you are only using the hAP for the tunnel connection, you can simply use the hAP as a WiFi access point (on either 2 GHz or 5 GHz) for your laptop to connect to. That will still allow the hAP to operate AREDN on the other band. In that case, the laptop will get an 10.x.y.z address and will functionally be on the AREDN network.
