Good morning,
When trying to upload the 3.15.1.0 firmware to a new airGrid M5 HP, I get "Firmware image check failed. Error code -6". The factory firmware on the M5 HP is 5.5.6.
Searching here on the forum leads me to wonder if the M5 HP isn't supported yet? Is that accurate, and when do you expect it to be supported? I hoped / assumed the M5 and the M5 HP would be the same as far as firmware goes.
Edited to add: I don't get a "third party binary" warning when I attempt to upgrade - it goes straight to attempting to upload the firmware and then the error.

you will need to SSH into the device to see the prompt that indicates it.
You can check the supported platform matrix here: http://www.aredn.org/content/supported-platform-matrix
We haven't seen XW versions with that earlier AirOS, but, have updated the software page accordingly.
For the more technically savvy among us:
Between XM and XW they replaced the SOC with a different newer model, which while it still speaks the same basic instruction set it has all its registers and features in different locations.
XW issues are discussed elsewhere in the forum so I won't repeat them here but searching can give you a better idea as to what the holdup is.
I didn't realize this radio wasn't supported yet - will it be supported soon?
Thanks,
John
