I'm interested in getting a dish type node to connect to a hilltop about 4 miles away from me.
Looking at AREDN's Support Platform Matrix, I see that the MikroTik RBLHG-5HPnD-XL is supported.

Shopping online, I also see a MikroTik product called the RBLHGG-5acD-XL.
Link:https://mikrotik.com/product/lhg_xl_5_ac
Some of the differences are listed below:
The RBLHG-5HPnD-XL:
Architecture: MIPSBE
CPU: AR9344
CPU core count: 1
Operating System: RouterOS
Size of RAM: 64MB
Storage size: FLASH
Suggested Price: $79.00
The RBLHGG-5acD-XL:
Architecture: ARM 32bit
CPU: IPQ-4018
CPU core count: 4
Operating System: RouterOS
Size of RAM: 256 MB
Storage size: 16 MB
Suggested price: $117.00
I don't know if the specs I listed are important for determining the differences but I just wanted to show that the two are fairly different internally
Does anyone know if the RBLHGG-5acD-XL model would accept the AREDN build intended for the RBLHG-5HPnD-XL?
I'm assuming the RBLHG-5HPnD-XL would not accept the build intended for the RBLHG-5HPnD-XL but I'm wondering if anyone has tried this.

I did not realize that the Nightly Builds had those additional devices. I should have looked closer myself.
Thanks very much for enlightening me. And thanks also for the quick response.
