Trying to understand how the node console link is intended to function on the Map symbols. Accessing the Map from an AREDN network connected to the internet, the node console link to my site brings me to my site. Accessing from a non-AREDN internet connection gives an error message when the node console link is clicked. How is the node console link supposed to work?
Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.
We can’t connect to the server at k1ehz-bedford1-nh.local.mesh.
If that address is correct, here are three other things you can try:
Try again later.
Check your network connection.
If you are connected but behind a firewall, check that Firefox has permission to access the Web.
From my internet connection the response is as expected.
Since my local AREDN network is not connected to your AREDN network, the response is as expected.
Only the hosts on your local AREDN network can reach that URL.
'.local.mesh' is not a routable domain on the internet.

Thank you for clarifying how the link is intended to work . I could not find any information about it by searching with Google, on the forum or among the documentation.

I assume you're discussing the MeshMap program by KG6WXC? If that is true, then here is the link to Eric's website for that program. https://gitlab.kg6wxc.net/mesh/meshmap. This is an independent program that Eric provides as a service to other hams, so it is not found or maintained in the standard AREDN software repositories.
There are several forum posts about MeshMap, including this one by Eric that contains several links:

Doh! I was thinking Jay meant the AREDN map:

Steve: Yes, Jay could have been referring to Trevor's 'MeshMap'.
Jay:
Which map were you referring to and which 'link' ?
Oh, and a link is a link is a link.
It does not matter from where you find the link, your computer (OS/browser/...) decides how to effect the related resource.
