From within a node, in the administration page, to update firmware there is a refresh button, then a download button. However it only shows older firmware (3.20.3) instead of the 3.22.1 current. Is there a way to get this node to find the newest, without having to manually download the file and upload it.
This happens to be a NSM2 XM but about 75% of the nodes in our network (about 25 nodes) exhibit the same.
Thanks,

Hi, Brent:
When you click the refresh button, what is the response from the node?
Without internet access at the node, you may see: I hope this helps,
Chuck
Yes, it shows the internet access with the download message. But it only shows 3.19.3.0, then 3.18.9.0 and finally 3.20.3.0 It doesn't show the current version of 3.22.1.0
Hi, Brent:
Set
aredn.@downloads[0].firmwarepath
to
http://downloads.arednmesh.org/firmware (edited)
For other than Ubiquiti devices, essentially, replace '/trunk/' with '/'.
I think.

Also, I've manually upgraded this older Nano XM unit to 3.22.1.0 and it works fine. But the auto firmware still only show three files, the 3.18, 3.19 and 3.20. It does not show the 3.22.1.0 It's like the node has a cache that needs cleared??
It's easy enough to manually install, it's just one has to be quite careful to get the right flavor installed. I borked a unit a long time ago. I think current software is smart enough not to flash if there is a mismatch between units and firmware?

"List of Changes:
The AREDN simplified firmware filename standard has been changed to the default OpenWRT convention to leverage data files created at build time for future automation of firmware selection.
When installing this firmware release, from prior firmware versions, you may get an error message similar to
“This filename is NOT appropriate for this device.“
“This device expects a file such as: aredn-3.22.1.0-main-ef2d605-ubnt-nano-m-xw-.*sysupgrade.bin”
“Click OK to continue if you are CERTAIN that the file is correct”
Ensure that you are loading the correct file by referring to the downloads page, then safely ignore the warning. Once this release is loaded, this error message will never occur again."
Chuck
Change the path to: http://downloads.arednmesh.org/firmware and REFRESH in order to get the newer versions listed.
